….But right on time.
(WEB) Zechariah 8:13 —
13 It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.
While in the mist of suffering and trials, sometimes it seems as if it will never end. Sometimes it can be so bad that you think that you are very close to death. When your faith is exclusively in YHWH, he always draws you out in due time. It doesn’t manifest as soon as you would like: but when it comes, he includes an escape route and a plan of re-establishment.
YHWH has his ways of communicating very important points: like reoccurring dreams of being in trouble, calling on YHWH, and being delivered. There are also premonitions, both in waking and dream-states. Sequentially, and comprehensively, in hindsight, it drives home the point that YHWH is in control and he makes things happen right when they suppose to occur…not a moment before or later than its set time. YHWH sets objectives and lessons for you to achieve and learn in order to build on the next set of objectives and lessons. It can be a painful, but powerful, and rewarding, experience of patience and continuing in “doing the right thing”, even if it doesn’t benefit you in the moment or in the “seeable” future; because there is something you suppose to give and another thing you are to take away from the experience. What exactly you take away isn’t always what you expect, but when your heart and mind are in the right place, YHWH finds a way to bless you with the good desires of your heart in a way you will not take for granted after the experience.
You don’t have to be of Israel to be inspired in overcoming hardship throughout their many associated stories. It will be important to follow Israel’s lead in walking in righteousness of YHWH, once YHWH re-establishes his people as a nation, because hardship is coming to all nations. This will be so in order for the nations to learn, firsthand, the lesson Israel failed to learn all this time; this will be elaborated on in an upcoming post.
